10th Annual Vietnam Veterans of Southwest Montana
Outreach Golf Tournament

The Vietnam Veterans of Southwest Montana held their 10th Annual Vietnam Veterans Outreach Golf Tournament at the Cottonwood Hills Golf Course on August 7 in Bozeman, Montana.
The tournament in the heart of beautiful Gallatin Valley included 34 teams who competed in this annual fund-raising event to help support the men and women who have served our country.
As teams arrived, they were greeted by VVA Chapter 788 members along with free coffee and donuts thanks to Salvation Army Bozeman.
Opening comments were made by Chuck Renevier, Regional 8 Director, Vietnam Veterans of America, in Memory of Skip Lee who served four years aboard the USS Kitty Hawk and sometimes positioned off the coast of Vietnam.
At the end of the day, 136 golfers gathered on the 19th Hole under a tent for prizes, refreshments, and a few embellished golf and war stories.
The tournament was remarkably successful because of our community volunteers, local businesses and partnership with the American Legion and VFW.
