Overview
Veterans treatment courts are an alternative to incarceration for military veterans and service members whose involvement in the justice system is rooted in a substance use disorder, mental health disorder, or trauma. These courts connect veterans in crisis with the local, state, and federal benefits and facilitate treatment services.
The Bozeman Veteran Eligible Treatment Services (VETS) Court is a voluntary 12-24 month program that uses a collaborative and evidence-based approach to treatment and rehabilitation.
Mission
The mission of the Bozeman Veteran Eligible Treatment Services (V.E.T.S.) Court is to reduce crime, enhance public safety, save taxpayer costs, and enrich lives by facilitating sobriety, treating mental health conditions, improving social relationships, and promoting lifelong stability for veteran offenders in our community
